I was thinking from an “Embryonic” state of mind as I began to formulate what I would eventually call a WoManiFestO™.
My Professional Work : the professional performances and writings I offer, are part of an ongoing process, thinking, feeling, growing up as a girl in this world.
I offer them as an ongoing Dialogue with Sisters + Brothers, with fellow artists, and with the Context of a Cultural Fabric interwoven with our Psyches since the days we lived in, and painted caves.
I am a Creator of Content : Independent Films, Albums, and Books, addressing themes that concern me as a 21st Century artist, who happens to Love being a GIRL.
My projects aspire to inspire & empower “One Global Girl"™ and those who love her. I believe, when every living being, both Male and Female, on "Mother Earth” born from “Mother Ocean,” embraces their innate “Female Essence” we will have embraced ourselves as a planet and as a civilization .
A Complex World Culture, played like a Symphony composed by the orchestra of every race, creed and gender and empowered by our collective humanity.
I believe in the “Global Girl” …
That is To Say, The “Female” Spirit is Us All ( men included) , hence “1GlobalGirlZ™” becomes empowered or “FeMPoWered™” / FeMPoWorD™ when :

SHE needs Networks for a myriad of reasons and I encourage Girls everywhere to use this as a network for any reason you may think of … not the least of which could be a SAFETY NET! Car-pooling information, Buddy System things like when traveling alone ( not always a great idea but I understand the indulgence of this pleasure ) … maybe even Advice from our elders or even out of the mouths of us babies too … what the hell kind of wisdom can i possibly have as yet ? sometimes saying “ i don’t know” is the wisest thing to do …
WAIVER : I am NOT setting myself up as an Authority Figure here, nor am I promising anything except quality films, movies and books … something for the heart, the mind, the body …

When I began writing on this topic more publicly, I discussed this with an image in mind … the “Coat Hanger Culture” pre-Roe v Wade
COAT HANGERS are not only the horrific symbol of that last resort so many women in history may have been forced to face …
Sadly … they are also – symbol for the EMPTY WORK-PLACES that Some Corporations ( NOT PEOPLE ) seem to be Rubbing the NOSE of OUR HUMANITY.
Workplace Rights for the LGBTQ Community is STILL not secured in many states and we know what is happening to Womens’ Rights in the Workplace and the looming Scarlett Letters for all of us Hester Prynnes.
The Workplace, is Sacred.
Let NOBODY and NO Corporate Entity Stand between the Individual’s Right to Earn a Fair Wage, with Fair/Equal Treatment, Free From Harrassment, while standing on the firm ground of Liberty and Justice For All.

If Corporations KNOW that you LOVE your job – they can PAY you less … the starving artist syndrome is now extended even to Airline Pilots – many of whom exist on Food Stamps – YEAH.
We must not live like Pigeons scrapping for our next meal.
WE MUST TAKE BACK world economy Without The Violence That Got Us into this mess – so that we can all LOVE our jobs and LIVE on the Fruits of Our Labours.
The manipulation of our will, must come to an end and we must exercise our Right To “The Pursuit of Happiness."
I wish to EMPTY the Places where we CHECK OUR HUMANITY at the door and HANG UP OUR CIVIL RIGHTS in order to buy another Dollar’s Worth of Rubbish from Fast Food Pharmacies.
We stand NAKED and ALONE TOGETHER stepping forward into another meaningless workday, exchanging our Valuable Energy … Grateful for the Noxious Fumes – because we are led to believe that old notion that "work makes free” … Do some research and checkout where that “expression” was born and where it was posted.
Time for History, to make room for HerStory.
Coat Hangers, symbol for the FRAME of a HUMAN BODY upon which such Corporations hope to HANG their own CULTURAL FABRIC, clothing us in a “Corporate Culture” that undoes the stitches of our Wonderfully Diverse Human Cultures.
Not all corporations are behaving in this manner. Let’s support the one’s that don’t !
It’s time for us to open our eyes and ASSERT OUR RIGHT TO CHOOSE.
For ME,
The Cultural Fabric … is where I LIVE DAILY … it’s what I am, what I help to WEAVE … one thread at a time.
I take it personally.
I want to CELEBRATE the RECYCLING of the HUMAN COAT HANGERS … because if we don’t do this in our DEARLY BELOVED : UNITED STATES of AMERICA … What CHANCE does Humanity have in the rest of the World ?

We made Significant Strides in the 20th Century !
But as to be expected, we allowed ourselves to succumb to some addictions.
Like Any 12 Step Program, now is our opportunity to Detoxify Global Culture from the mistakes of the 20th Century.
The Last Election was step one.
This Next Election is our Next Giant Leap for Human KIND
I sense we have “miles to go before we sleep” … that’s ok by me … I prefer to remain AWAKE
Before the Obama Election, I had this idea : “What If We RECYCLE COAT HANGERS to the GOP ? "
Little did I realize that Roe v Wade could be dragged onto the chopping block with fuller force for this upcoming Election.
So, I’m thinking again … What if we Recycle 1BCH : 1 Billion CoatHangers To Avoid going back to 1BC ?
We could recycle them virtually via PHOTOS that I can use in a collage.

Informal Biography + Anecdotes :
"I'm still that teenage runaway with a scholarship ... lol, I got a Masters' Degree from NYU, but no high school diploma ... "
Actress * Director * Singer * Songwriter Cali Lili skipped several grades (having been tested as reading at college level in grade school) took her first college course in the entire works of Shakespeare, at age 13, never graduated high-school, never even went to a prom, was swooped up, landing at NYU, then completed her Masters' Degree on full scholarship with awards / stellar reviews for early works.
The Cali Lili ™ Band recorded a completely original stand-alone "Urban / World / Rock © " styled Singer-Songwriter Debut Album which forms the core of the soundtrack for her debut feature film :

She made the feature length narrative motion picture with an ALL FEMALE production team.
'eVe N'god this female is not yet rated ™ ' is perhaps, the first ( or one of the first ) production of it's kind : a theatrical feature length motion picture, in which the technical production roles employed only women during principal photography. She began pre-pre-production on this "fempoword™" project in 2010, including rehearsal footage.
Cali is told that she was born "early" and "on the water." Having experienced an extremely difficult childhood, she does not revisit those days, and often speaks out against abuse.
Born of multi-cultural heritage, Cali is keenly aware and concerned with what she sees as a form of "tribalism" too often employed as "nationalism." Cali writes about these issues and acts accordingly when it comes to her public image.
Cali adores being an actor and takes that craft very seriously, but found herself turning down 3 acting offers, that she felt were disempowering to women, in order to "turn up" what she calls fempower (TM) by scraping together "half a shoestring budget" to build her "green" "off-grid," upcycled "surfshack" feMt0™studi0 in the "floating" neighborhood of Venice Beach in Los Angeles, California where she makes "Signature" auteur Motion Pictures, Albums and Books, "TinyMultiMedia™️ HandMade2MakeADifference™”©
Based on the quality of her work as an artist, and her uncompromising dedication to excellence, she then raised modest financing for her upcoming Slate of Motion Pictures, Albums, and Books.
She works from the Cutting Edge Of The Pacific ™" @ The Cali Lili Indies ™ " where she stays "afloat" connected with her love and devotion to "rippling waters of the world"
Cali's degree included extensive studies in anthropology as well as performance techniques from all over the globe. She holds an added background of intense New York studies in dance /choreography.
Cali is proud to share her deep connection with "Mother Africa." She is greatly inspired by African culture, the cultures of Oceania, and that of her other diverse intercultural studies.

Cali's films are inclusive of lgbtq characters and the authentic real lives of these characters. She also delves into the reality of "being female" and a "multi-cultural blend" who "appears to be white," in a biased world.
Cali's career in movies began as a teenager, flying back and forth from NY to LA, while working as an "au pair."
As a kid, she "raised herself" in spite of an abusive childhood and vowed she would never marry, but she married her male partner in 2012, contrary to gossip that they were married earlier.
The partnership between Cali and Wings is unique and her work / films reflect upon relationships and gender / orientation / politics in culture and society in the 21st Century .
Womens' Rights, Human Rights, Feminist, Lesbian, LGBTQ and Bi-Sexual matters are included, along with other Social Justice and Environmental Justice as part of her projects, sharing stories about the authentic lives of characters navigating the "waters" of the 21st Century.
With legendary 'Edward G. Robinson as one of the distinguished members of her ancestry, Cali dedicates herself to honoring a tradition of excellence and earning her "place" as an up-and-coming young artist.
She has been granted the rights to the favorite novel of legendary 'Zane Grey (I) by Grey's son Loren Grey ( writer and educator) for a film adaptation in which she will co-star.
As a young Indie Performer and Creator, Cali and her partner, veteran actor 'Wings Hauser' along with Cali's team of handpicked skilled film and music professionals, are producing a growing catalogue of original films and songs.
Cali is already busy in preps for the next green-lighted project, using her proprietary methodologies as described in her book "The Declaration of IndiePenDance™"
In the past, Cali previously worked in a collaboration agreement deal with Academy Award winning Dutch producer, 'Hans de Weers' (Antonia's Line) which ended when Cali realized it was time to build her own tiny studio, in order to make projects that empower Women, LGBTQIA , Civil Rights and Climate Science communities.
Her wish is to continue sharing her heart with the hearts of the beautiful fans she hears from, daily.
