i lend her my lens,

by heart

she pictures 

me the stars,

beyond the tears 

above the gray,

for i would not credit you,

my demon,

with the beauty of black,

you,

my gray,

beast

limping,

off the

highway,

rescued,

threading

back the grapevine,

your pathology wasted on my tongue,

your geography

broke my innocence,

well

i should have known,

young

naive

that

any pavement

where

some easy 8 motel,

folding sheets

the used,

and where

the lies are deep,

betraying,

hues 

disgracing what u rendered

mute 

she rescues me

from you …

my girl

in the moon, 

sees me 

away from you,

and the sun

never was

made for hell

nor the stars

descending

to your 

well, 

my girl in the moon 

sees me
