To Love

Whomever we Love,

However we Love,

Can be complicated … scary,

And for some of us,

It can even be dangerous.

I believe

It’s time to recognize,

to Assert,

freedom TO love™ is a CIVIL RIGHT ;

and

like All Civil Rights,

an INDIVIDUAL BIRTH RIGHT.

for us all.

I believe in the concept of

WalkingLiberties™ under the

CivilRightsRainbow™

Bridging ALL Civil Rights,

Spanning the Rainbow Hues of

Diversity in Race, Creed, Age & Gender,

GlobaLGBT™ FeMPoWerment™

and ECONOMICRight2Live™

These pieces “Embody” … “Capture”

In Physical + Symbolic Form,

An “Energy” animating both,

personal & creative Significance for me.

It’s a matter of the heart,

to share them

on this formal day for LGBT Celebration.

Personally, I have been wearing them

to Honour and Celebrate my

freedom TO love™

on a daily basis.

I consider this freedom,

a Birth Right ;

global umbrella,

spanning Femme to Feminism.

These pieces were born

in Screenplay form,

I designed them as

a “love story in spirals and triangles”

for The Cali Lili Indies™ Indie Feature Film :

Our BRILLIANT Property Master, Tiffany Smith,

helped me create the Prototype PROP JEWELRY

that we used for parts of the film

Then AMAZING Lori & Risky Beads,

helped me perfect the pieces into

Jewelry worn in the

Final Cut of the Film,

and Pieces that I personally wear

as expressions of

my Individual freedom TO love™

When I accepted myself as a Truli*Indie™

film and music maker,

I sorted out the challenges by writing my

Declaration of IndiePendence™

exploring the relationship between society

and the artist;

we need each other.

I wear one earring, one anklet,

and one spiral ring as expressions of

my “freedom to love” and in recognition

that individuals who identify among the

many indie variations described as

fluid female / bisexual can be especially

misunderstood.

I offer these pieces in hopes they may spark

a conversation about

what I think of as

“the wide range of the rainbow,”

the many “indie variations” of

But I just didn’t expect it to –

Keep Going …

I thought , I’d move on as usual,

to the next project and the next

“Business As Usual “in the entertainment industry.

We are like Gypsies,

BLESSED with the Beauty of “This Moment”

The Romance of “Now”

It’s part of why we came here, to do this work …

But More Often than Not,

Leaves many of us FRAGMENTED / FRACTURED,

Distanced from each other,

Instead of bringing us together to raise standards.

The PEOPLE who REALLY MAKE :

the MOVIES and the MUSIC :

We get a “Gig”

then it’s OVER

and we move on

Which is EXCITING …

but also …

A never-ending HUNT for the NEXT GIG .

Sometimes this “Gigging”

it resembles that hamster wheel of a rat race

An “Energy” animating both,

personal & creative Significance for me.

It’s a matter of the heart,

as expressions of

When I accepted myself as a Truli*Indie™

film and music maker,

I sorted out the challenges by writing my

Declaration of IndiePendence™

exploring the relationship between society

and the artist;

I wear one earring, one anklet,

and one spiral ring as expressions of

my “freedom to love” and in recognition

exploring the relationship between society
