Hello ALL ! I’d love your advice on a question regarding the #WORD : #Transvestite … used in a particular #Context … when spoken by a film character onscreen …

 I ASKED both personal friends and Online in general … whether the word “tranny” spoken by an onscreen character in a film was a pejorative term in all contexts … the response was “ it depends upon the context” which makes sense … when we shot the scene, I did not feel comfy saying that word … so i switched it to “Transvestite” … bc the CHARACTER is saying that word while “in character” … the gist of the line is : “ i know some transvestites who could teach you ( misogynists / males / people in general ) a few things about #genderstudies ” … (copyright Cali Lili Indies™PWMiM™  Cali Lili ) … So … Now that the film +  album are completed … but not yet released … I am wondering …how do YOU feel about that line ? … it would cost production funds to change the line as is in the film right now … but i will definitely consider seeking from investors a budget to change it, if it is harmful / hurtful … but … it’s SO difficult for me to gauge IF it actually IS offensive / harmful … bc …. the FILM is COMPLETELY SUPPORTIVE of THE ENTIRE #Rainbow #Spectrum of #LGBTQIA  … in fact, SUPPORTING ALL OF US in the #LGBTQIA #CivilRights #WomensRights #Science #HumanRights Family  is the main theme of the ENTIRE film … !   I’d love your thoughts please …
