Much Like Survivors of War,
Survivors of abuse,
Whether Emotional or Physical,
Instantly recognize the build-up,
Escalating tensions that lead to war.
From the Personal To the Political,
We lack that Extra Layer of Comfort,
Stripped Away,
As a Result of Experiences that none of us
Should ever need to claim.
Although garnered by pain,
There is a Survivor Strength
We Possess,
And a Wisdom,
HyperVigilance and Sensitivity,
Like an Alarm that awakens us
And Everybody in our midst,
To the Need For Calm,
Reason,
Balance
Proportion,
A Heightened Awareness
To the Insanity of War,
Whether it Be the War Between
Your Parents in the Next Room,
Or Between Countries,
Also
In the Next Room.
We Know,
All Too Well
In the Blink of an Eye
The Family,
Personal + Global
Needs A Good Warm Meal,
Shelter
Hearth and Home
Nourishment
Comfort
StabilityCalm
Sanity
Above All,
Love.
We Measure Each Breath,
Holding it in,
Letting It out
Awaiting the Breeze
Come and Blow Away
The Clouds Of Insanity

The Same Remedies applied Upon receiving the Abused Family Members into a Safe House or Shelter can be applied globally
The Stakes are catastrophic if we neglect this Mental Wellness for : Our Global Family
At the very simplest psychological level – the solutions are so clear ….
Like any Culture or Group of People oppressed by The Dictator – the Family Members of an Abuser suffer unimaginably, the daily agonies of tortures – … both physical and psychological in nature
These agonies damage victims for generations …
