although I always wrote reams of lyrics
In search of their music
Until I Met wings
I didn’t have the confidence to sing
he always said that his dad cast him in his first project
Wings cast me in my first feature film role and then
He hired me to co-write a project
At the end of the writing day
Before I went home
He kept badgering me to sing
I don’t know why
He Dared me to stand up on a bench at the studio and just sing
One of the first songs I sang for him was
“You are so beautiful…”

Then he badgered me to show him my lyrics
When he read my lyrics
He said
“this is gonna be something great

• You don’t need other songs
  you’ve got it all, honey
  And it’s only just begun”

  I’m so grateful to say that
